I work as a developer at a bank whose card can be added to Apple Pay by a customer.
When a customer uses Apple Pay at a physical location, a transaction appears for the related card in the Wallet app. I have noticed these transactions have much more precise location data (lat/long) than the location data provided by pocessors (Mastercard, Visa, etc.). If a bank's card is added to Apple Pay, does PassKit (or related API) allow that bank to read location data for their card's transactions in the Wallet app?
If so, I cannot find documentation about this and would love if soemone could point me in the right direction.
If not, I'd love to know this is not possible.
