is there a way to get the source for the image kit framwork?

Not because you are asking about open source, but because you are asking about ImageKit. Have you tried to use it?


Anyway, all of Apple's open source is available at https://opensource.apple.com, right up to macOS 10.14.1. Most of it is code that was already open source before Apple started using it. There are a few useful bits for those cases where Apple hasn't provided any documentation for some really low-level API. But there are very few, if any, mid-level APIs like ImageKit available.
