We are developing HomeKit BLE accessory. As per Homekit specification, we must use short name truncated to fit in the advertisement data with AD type 0x08 if the complete name cannot be included in the advertisement data. But, if we use short name then an accessory is displayed as a short name in the scanning list sometime.Can we use 0 length for short name or no short name at all in advertisement data? Does it affect the HomeKit certification?
