An app I created does not show up in spotlight, it is properly installed in /Applications folder, I was wondering if there is something to be added in .plist or anything. Other apps show up properly on my spotlight.

So, it is a MacOS App ?
What I would do first is reboot the Mac (there may have initializations at this point).
If still does not show:
- you say it is properly installed: how did you install
- in fact the app should show even out of Application folder: so check the exact name: what is the app name ? What do you type in spotlight ?
It is a MacOs app yes.
It does not work on spotlight in every mac it is installed in.
App is installed via the drag and drop in dmg method.
