There seem to be two different methods to let others know that a particular reply has been helpful:
- "Mark as Helpful" using the "Actions" menu at the bottom left of the post, and/or
- "This helped me" at the bottom right of the post.
What's confusing is that they don't seem to function the same. If someone wishes to promote a post as being helpful, which should they use?
If "Mark as Helpful" will do more to draw the attention of those with similar queries, then having "This helped me" as a more accessible, but less effective, option can only dilute the objective of drawing attention to the helpful reply.
