Why iOS PWA Standalone mode camera not working ?

I was developing one PWA application in IOS using a camera functionality. Unfortunately, I am not able to open the camera or even there is no permission pop up came to access the camera. Is there any way to access the camera in PWA standalone mode?

AFAIK, there is (still) no access to Camera within a standalone PWA.


Feel free to file an enhancement request via the bug reporter, but my opinion is that this is by design. Want more access to native iOS hardware, etc., build a native iOS app.
