App Analytics for Testflight builds?

We have an app that's not available in the app store yet but we are distributing via Testflight. We were hoping to get App Analytics via AppStore Connect but are app is not listed on the site so there is no data for impressions, units, etc. Does App Analytics get populated for apps that are Testflight only?

Quoting App Store Connect Help/About app analytics:


"App Analytics displays data from devices running macOS 10.14.1, iOS 8 or tvOS 9, or later. Data from TestFlight beta testing is not included. Data is displayed when a certain number of data points are available."
