According to this Apple Developer news, all new apps and app updates for Apple Watch will need to be built with the watchOS 5.1 SDK or later and support Apple Watch Series 4.
However, I'm not sure what need to be done to support the Apple Watch Series 4. Is there any specific to the Series 4? The only thing taht I could think is the larger screen.
