ThirdParty Payment Gateway - Card base Payment & Wallet in iOS app for purchasing application feature.

We want to know if we can integrate thirdparty payment gateway to meet the requiremets which listed below:


  • Purchase tokens : (Some kind of points which will be usefull while using the app).
  • Purchased token can be used in following ways:
    • User can bet/wagger the token on some activity.
    • User can Encash the token purchased
    • User can Purchase Physical goods from the token in respective online pruchase portal.


We would like to integrate the ThirdParty payment gateway for purchase of the tokens within the app.

These purchaed tokens are not only used in our app for waggering but also used for enacashment & pruchase of other goods from online shopping website.


We assume that we can use thirdparty payment gateway for our application with respect to the above points.Please do let us know if there are any complaince issue with the AppStore Guidelines or InApp Purchase policy, Also please let us know if there are any chance of app rejection in aforesaid scenario with Thirdparty Payment.

Pls. refer to theGaming, Gambling, and Lotteries &Business sections in the ASRGs. My opinion is that as long as your payment method is outside the app, and that point is made clear to users, you are best positioned to avoid rejection. No opinion on the gambling aspect. Just keep in mind no one here can promise what App Review may/may not accept/reject.
