Raw Support on 2019 iPad Models

Will the 2019 iPad Air and iPad Pro models back cameras support RawPhotoPixelFormatTypes? I have yet to find specific documentation supporting or dismissing this. Thanks!

Based on the techincal specs on apple.com it appears as though the Air model may not support RAW, but the Pro model may support RAW..

The just announced iPad Air and iPad mini both support RAW capture on the back camera when using the photo preset. The most recent iPad Pro models also support RAW capture on the back camera.

I've just confirmed this is not the case for a 3rd Gen iPad Air.


Using photo preset, after adding photo output to session, checked available RAW types using availableRawPhotoPixelFormatTypes, returns 0 items.
