Hardware requirements of Xcode 10

Hi, I am developing an app that will charge some websites and communicate with them, and show a stream, all in a slide menu. I have a MacBook Pro 13-inch Mid 2012 with an Intel Core i5, 4GB ram and masOS Mojave 10.14.3, but sometimes Xcode gets slow or closes when other programs are open too. So, which model of Mac would be best to develop the app? Is better an iMac or a MacBook?
