Some of my app users are experiencing crashes on startup when app is compiled with XCode 10.1 (which has default compiler Apple Clang), whereas app runs fine when same code is compiled with XCode 9.2 (which has default compiler Apple LLVM 9.0).

This has become a crucial issue for me because "Starting March 2019, all new apps and app updates for iPhone, including universal apps, will need to be built with the iOS 12 SDK".

Unfortunately, although the problem affects a significant number of users, I have not received any crash reports via Apple, so can't even begin to diagnose the cause. My concern is that it may be a compiler bug.

Can I revert to LLVM 9.0 in XCode 10.1? If so, how?
