I have spent too much time suffering from Apple's bugs.
My case was this, I upgraded to macOS 10.14.1 recently. Then exporting archive to ipa with Xcode 10.1 became really slow. Normally it took about 1 minute, however, now it took over 20 minutes!
At first, I thought it might be my fault. So I kept searching on Google and different forums, tried any possible solutions I could found. I had tried adjusting project settings, build command options, different file system format, adjusting export option list, patching OS to 10.14.3, different devices (Mac mini, iMac, Mac Pro)... .... After spending about a week, however, I still could not find out why it suddenly ran into such performance ****!
Today, with much frustration, I suspected it might be due to the God d*** macOS 10.14 itself. Thus, I tried exporting with Xcode 10.1 on some machines with macOS 10.13.6.
All of a sudden, it returned to normal! 1 minute! 1 minute finally came back!!
There are absolutely some performace bugs on macOS 10.14.1~3.
In case you run into similar issues, I'd suggest you use macOS 10.13.6 before Apple fix the bugs.
