I have added a helper console app to the "Full Disk Access" whitelist via the "Security and Privacy" settings panel. However, the console app is still prevented from accessing the filessytem. How do we enable non-app console helper tools to provide full disk access or why can't we?
Apple bug or another poorly thought out and unnecessary security hack?
I’d like to clarify your setup here. You’ve mentioned “helper console app” and “non-app console helper tools”. Are these the same thing? Or is one nested within the other? And are these ‘helper’ bits all nested within some other, main application?
