Updating an app for changing App Store Description

My app was approved but I forgot to change my description. the field is locked but I have to change the description. it says "create a new app version". If I update my app, will it review again and remove from App store as temporary? If it is, is there another way of changing the description? If it's not, please don't remove my app from App store.

I don't think there is one apart from uploading a new version... Not particularly helpful if that's the case!
