We have integrated Apple pay support in our app integrated with Verifone sleds for retail stores.
For transactions done on physical cards, if a user bypasses a pin in debit card, the sleds prompts the user if he/she wants to use the card as a credit.
Does Apple pay provide the same functionality if hybrid card is added in iPhone for Apple pay?
Or does it support only pure debit cards and purely credit cards as separate?
We want the same functionality where if user bypasses a pin in debit card, the sled/iPhone should prompt the user if he/she wants to use the card as a credit.
We tried adding the cards available in Apple Sandbox testing https://developer.apple.com/apple-pay/sandbox-testing/. There are 6 cards available for MPOS applications but none of them are hybrid and are pure debit or pure credit.
