It's possible to plug an external camera for live view for example ?

I would like to create an application that allows me to see, take pictures without touching the camera via usb-C.

It's possible now with iPad Pro to make this ?

Have you already talked to the camera manuf. to ask for their API(s)?


Otherwise note the physical connector has traditionally been used for file xfer, not typical USB communications.
