I'm newbie in App submission. I'd like to share my bad experience in my app submission.
My app name is: Screen Recorder & backup file.
In the beginning, I think it simply. My app only offer "Upload the videos which were recored by my apps to our server". So I used "backup file" in the title.
This is a passionate product of my team working for a long time. We waited for several weeks to get a response form Apple.
The app was rejected but have no any mentione about the title, they just told the app looks like "spam".
So I just appeal, but more than 3 weeks no response. Then I resubmited the app. Finnaly it cause me really hard issue.
My account had been flagged for removal with a notice: "choosing a name for Your Application that is substantially similar to the name of a third party application in order to create consumer confusion, or squatting on application names to prevent legitimate third party use)."
Now I knew the App title has problem. Really sad for my first app!
Hope no one will get into this issue again.
