USB-C On New iPad Pro?

I can't find any documention regarding USB-C on the new iPad Pro that was announced today. Is this something that we should expect to be able to have access to? Will it require MFI access? It could also be that I missed something obvious from the announcement today regarding access, but I'm trying to find more info.
