Can I customize MFi controller deadzones?

Can I customize MFi controller deadzones? According to https://developer.apple.com/documentation/gamecontroller/gccontrolleraxisinput/1500224-value iOS automatically parses the raw analog stick data from an MFi controller and converts it into a -1 to 1 float. This has caused problems simply because the stick deadzones (the area in middle of the analog stick's range where input is not registered) is massive, almost 20% of the full gamut of the analog stick. Can I customize this value? Thanks.

EDIT: The problems I'm trying to fix are just the control precision issues that go with massive deadzones. These massive deadzones combined with the inherent input lag that MFi controllers carry makes controller iOS gaming currently quite difficult.

Assuming you're talking about your own controller (otherwise I'm not sure what this has to do w/MFi), I believe this is better put to your MFi contact and/or via one of your MFi support tickets. devForums is better suited for general MFi topics, thanks.
