iPhone sync slow from nas on mojave but fine on high sierra

I tried upgrading again to Mojave and have an issue. My iTunes library is on a QNAP NAS. Syncing songs to my iphone 8 plus or x works fine and is fast on High Sierra. Once I upgraded to Mojave, it takes several minutes to sync each song from the gigabit nas (wired or wireless) to the phone. This happened on the last couple of builds. Once I move back to HS, it syncs 100 songs in just a few minutes. I've gone back and forth a couple of times without any changes to the NAS or other networking bits.

Any ideas?

You mean today's 10.14.1 beta? Did you file bugs against it?

I am experiencing this same issue w/ Mojave. I am having to do a complete resync of an 80 GB ipod and it is taking forever. While the sync is going on, accessing the NAS to do some other work is slow and frequently beach balls. Outside of an ipod sync, the NAS has no issues and xfer speeds are usually around 90 MB/s. My NAS is Synology and I am using SMB to connect.

I switched over to Windows via bootcamp and tried doing the resync there and it flies!

Be sure to file bugs against the beta.
