Entire App Record Disappeared - iTunes Connect

I had a client app record created ("+" button on the top left of iTunes Connect), went to upload the actual build and everything went through as normal. Added the client testers, and pushed out TestFlight invitations. The client found some bugs, fixed them and uploaded a new build only to find out that the entire app record had been deleted.


The client says they haven't touched anything in the portal, and they did not receive any email stating why their app is gone. When I contacted apple dev email about it, they said they cannot find any record of that app name or bundle ID existing, but when I try to create a new "app record" with the same app name, it gives me an error saying that name is already in use.


Has anyone experienced this before, and have a possible resolution?
