Why can't I delete a development container?

I have some useless and stupid containers that were created by accident but are still in development and were never published to production, so why is it that Apple won't allow us to delete these? This is so stupid.

Because it implies deleting data from other people's iCloud accounts.


However IF, and it's a big IF, you could be confident that ALL data had been deleted by all users THEN it might be reasonable for you to be able to delete the container.
