How do I install tvos without a mac? Is it possible?

I can't afford a Mac at any price point but I'd like to test or even install tvos at some point in the future. I was thinking of buying an Apple TV 4k but if I can't ever update it, I'm not sure that it would be worth it to me. I thought I saw a way via Dropbox. Any advice would be appreciated. I test iOS. And sometimes watchos. Thanks.

Well I just found some really good deals on refurbished macs. Question becomes which is a good platform for majove, not just tvos. Plus as an audio Engineering, I'd like to be able to run logic pro X. I don't think a MacBook air is quite good enough for that. What about a mac mini?

Once you purchase the Apple TV 4K you can go to the system settings and allow it to receive beta updates.
