Getting this screwy error after uploading the production version of my app to the Appstore. Precious little on the net about it. Development version works fine.

I went back to a previous project file when things were working and did a diff on that and the current one. This error message is one of those that seems completely spurious, but actually makes sense when I tracked it down. The isse was that I put alias' of my common tools in the project browser so I can have easy access to them, making sure to keep them from being copied to any target. A recent one was being copied over to my bundle by accident and so the validator saw an "app" that wasn't zipped.
