TVOs : Send command to awake AppleTV

Hello,

What I want to achieve :

Send a command that awake a sleeping (paired) AppleTV.

Technical information :

Using configurator and instruments we can access a paired device even if it is in sleep mode.

Using instruments you can even start an application when the Apple TV is sleeping.

Now I want to have a video output of this running application. As a result I want to awaken the AppleTV from a command/request sent to the device.

Solutions considered

• Finding a simple command tool that allow such an operation
• Create a background running application that awaken the device when it receives such a request.
• Communicate with the device through the ip protocol (in current investigation)
• Changing the Settings > Sleep Mode to Never (but this will be if all the other options have failed)
