Maximum number BLE devices that can be bonded to an iOS device

I know there is a hard limit for number of simultaneously connected BLE devices, but is their any limit for how many can be paired and bonded (but not necessarily connected)? That is how many can show up on the "MY DEVICES" list in Settings -> Bluetooth.
