iPhone X Notch, Left or Right?

If I want the notch on an iPhone X to always be on the left in landscape mode, is that Landscape Right? I don't have an iPhone X, and can't get this project to build for the Simulator. On my iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, Landscape Right puts the home button on the left, so the iPhone X seems to be backwards. Is that correct, notch on left = landscape right?

According to this Apple iPhone X landscape example, it shouldn't matter...you need to inset both sides regardless:

At least in sim, using iPhone X and Xcode 10 beta 1, 'rotate left' places the notch on the left. Landscape Left is then indicated in the hardware orientation, but it also might have been fixed since this question was posted.
