Smart-app-banner is shown but validation tool fails

Hi,

I have a website

https://www.cneubauer.net/en/software/car-dash-camera-en

which displays a smart app banner correctly. However if I run the "App Search API Validation Tool" it does not find the appname and the bundleid. Any hints how this could happen ? For other apps on the same site it is working as inteded, but not for the link above...

Thanks

Chris

I went to check your

apple-app-site-association
file and noticed that it bounces through a redirect:
$ curl -D /dev/stderr https://www.cneubauer.net/.wellknown/apple-app-site-association

That’s not allowed, per the App Search Programming Guide which says:

The file needs to be accessible via HTTPS—without any redirects—at

https://<domain>/apple-app-site-association
or
https://<domain>/.well-known/apple-app-site-association
.
