Subscriptions and non-consumable in-app purchase grouping

Hi Developers,


We have 3 options in our app monetization:

1. Monthly subscription

2. Yearly subscription

3. One time purchase forever


Apple provides way that when user switches from one subscription to another, the previous subscription cancels automatically. This is done by grouping two subscriptions, but for one time in-app purchase the same way is not working. There is no ability to add in-app purchase to the subscriptions group.


Is there any other way to automatically cancel subscription when non-consumable in-app purchase is being bought by user?

Automatically? No. You can issue an alert to the user and transfer them to the manage subscription page from that alert. You can decide when to issue that alert by checking the auto_renew_status field in a receipt for a user that has purchased the non-consumable.
