I have update the mobile phone number associated with my Apple ID.But the page still tip me "First, you’ll need to update the mobile phone number associated with your Apple ID. Your mobile phone number must be based in your country/region. Edit this number in the Account section of appleid.apple.com, and return to your developer account to continue."

The problem has annoyed so many develpers and Apple still can't give a solution after about half a month. Why is Apple so inefficient ? Or they just don't care?

I'm a Chinese apple developer and I met the same problem. I tried to contact Apple customer support and they just told me that they cannot solve this problem and they also refused to give me their developer's contact means.
I just sent a email to their developer support 'chinadev@asia.apple.com' the answer is they will contact me back in 1 or 2 working days.
