32-bit applications after macOS High Sierra

Does anyone know what “macOS High Sierra will be the last macOS release to support 32-bit apps without compromise” exactly mean? As it is announced in https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=06282017a

Our MacOs application is written in 32-bits (C/C++ code) and we cannot convert it to 64-bits in a reasonable time (say before 1 year). Currently it is running fine with macOS High Sierra and we are not publishing the application in the Mac App Store.

Our concern is whether a 32-bit application that is not published in the Mac App Store will still be working properly under the next release of macOS after macOS High Sierra.

Thanks,

Dani

Not sure what you mean - that announcment was made in June, last year, ten months ago. Now you want another year? If you can't get it done by now, you can't get it done. Note that macOS 10.14 is right around the corner.

If you're not in the store, and not willing to update that application, your only hope is that your legacy users feel the same and stay where they are on macOS.

Good luck.
