A few days ago, I wanted to restore the DTK to its original state, and I probably had a stupid idea to select the Erase Mac option in Recovery mode. Instead of deleting the users data and the device re-installing the system, the device only restarted and LED on the DTK started flashing orange SOS. So I installed the current Apple Configurator 2.13.1 from the App Store and tried to restore the device from the UniversalMac11.020A5384cRestore.ipsw file (macOS Big Sur 11 beta 9). The process ended in error: The System cannot be restored on this device. I can't complete the operation (AMRestoreErrorDomain error 10 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg)" [AMRestoreErrorDomain - 0xA (10)]_ I tried again according to the instructions here: https://download.developer.apple.com/Documentation/Universal_App_Quick_Start_Program_Resources/Restoring_Developer_Transition_Kit.pdf I used: MacOS 10.15.7, Apple Configurator 2.13.1 (from the App Store - I don't know where to get the described version 2.13 beta at the moment), Xcode 12 beta 1 (I also tried Xcode 12.2 beta 2) and the result is always the same. The progress bar with the description “Restoring System on device Step 2 of 2: Installing System” will finish. The progress bar appears on the device monitor, and then the error described above appears in the Apple Configurator. The process can also be seen in the video here: youtu.be/fzZbJBAgegk Can someone please advise me if it is necessary to have a beta version of Apple Configurator and where to download it, or another version of macOS, etc.
