User Profile

Hi, I'm new to macOS kernel development, but not kernel development in general. I have the specific question of what has to happen for the xnu source for the more recent releases of macOS to become available. But more generally, how do people maintain a machine for kernel development? Do you have to work several releases behind the most recent? I see that 10.15.3 has now been released, but I upgraded from 10.15.4 to 10.15.5 recently. How can I get setup? Any references for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steven
