I'm trying to build an app that connects with an peripheral throught Bluetooth Low Energy most of time, but the firmware update is throught Classic because of the size of the data. Some people told me that it's not possible to use the update firmware, once the peripheral doen't follow the iAP protocol (or MFi program, I don't know if that's the same thing). But since WWDC 2019, we have CoreBluetooth working for both Bluetooth Low Energy and Classic. So, the requirement for iAP or MFi is still valid, or is it outdated for this case? It's really hard to find some documentations about that. I'd appreciate any help and links!
