Is ti possible to download a macOS beta using software update first then install it at a later time? I need to run a patcher before installing system software because my laptop is too old to run Mojave without s patcher. I originally joined the beta program with a newer MacBook Pro but had to downgrade to an older model. I'd still like to test the beta releases but can't figure out how to download first, run the patcher, and then install the system software., It was suggested I type STMPDR in the terminal window to find the hidden directory where it's already on my drive. I don't kno much about Terminal and I guess I need to type sopme kind of command before inputting STMPDR. Any help would be appreciated.
