Apple's DriverKit documentation states: "Use the USBDriverKit framework to develop drivers for custom or non-class compliant USB devices for use with macOS". Is it possible to write a DriverKit driver which can match and take control of a USB class compliant device? We have a number of USB Audio class devices which currently can operate under the control of Apple's class compliant driver or a kext based driver supplied by us. It is not clear from the wording in the docs whether this will be possible moving forward.

I have a new Apple Silicon Mac Mini that I'm using for 3rd party kext development for a usb audio interface. I'm trying to launch Startup Security Utility to lower the security policy to allow for kext loading. I get to the view to select the drive to unlock (drive is encrypted) but when I click the "Unlock..." button the system just hangs there. I can move the mouse and the dialog but it never gets to the place where opening the utility is an option.
