I have declared an mutablearray and the count should not exceed 100. If some one calls addObject method to add an item to that array when the count is 100 then that method call should not be executed until someone removes an item so that count will go down below 100. Can we use semaphore or group dispatch for signalling or mutex/NSLock is… Show more
Is there any restrictions on Custom URL scheme names? URL scheme name "httpabc" works but "http:abc" doesn't work. So wanted to know the restrictions imposed by Apple as I couldn't find relavent document in developer portal?
My app can get request either from web app or native app via universal. If I get a string(will be used to call the source app) from another app or from the server, I should be able to figure out whether its a URL scheme URI or web URL. Is there any convenient method available or any regex will help to validate?
I know universal link(Assocaited domains) can be used for web to app communication. Can we use the same for app to app communication?
Is there any mechanism to generate a unique string/token(like UUID/ identifierForVendor) in device and verify the same in host/server?
I am loooking for architecture diagram on how on demand resource works and wanted to know how to host the images/assets in the appstore to download the content on demand. Thank you. I read that documen before posting this questions. I wanted to know more about this line "One or more of the asset packs for the tags are hosted on the App Store" . I believe .plist file(AssetPackManifest)wihich contains tags will be hosted in the appstore, not the actual content. So If my understanding is correct, this will be the…
I believe time complexity for rangeOfString:options method is O(n) and for componentsSeperatedByString is also O(n). If its correct, please let me know whether any method available with better time complexity.
Use case: Text file contains n number of lines, each line will have URL string. Need to read each line and check for specific host So, using componentsSeperatedByString:@"\n" to break each line and iterating array to check whether the URL has specific host(rangeOfString:@"https:xyz.com"options). I wanted to know the time complexity of those…
I want to store static NSString securely. I am storing in plist file but its not secure as it can retrieved if anyone gets IPA. Is there any way to store a string or token securely?
willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation - this deprecated API is getting called when app enters background and "toOrientation" is incorrect. If I put the app in background when the device is in portrait, willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation is getting called and toInterfaceOrientation is set to LandscapeLeft.

I know device check is set and get two bit information. Can we use that API directly or indirectly to store and get app/jws/jwt tokens?
Thanks for sharing those documents. I read those documents before posting the questions. 'Secured' means keeping data free from exposing or making the data non human-readable . I believe keychains are useful to store the data if it comes from server. I wanted to know whether storing the hardcoded string in keychain is really useful.
