I was wondering if there is a way(in iOS 12.2) for an app to play a sound that comes through push notification that bypasses silent mode (having mute switch turned down in the side of iPhone). There wasn't a clear answer among developers and I was wondering if there is a public API/setting that needs to be tweaked or if this is inherently impossible to implement. The only app that I have seen this happen is the native alarm app installed in iOS. I'm wondering if that same API can be exposed and used by developers.
