Is T2 chip installed Mac became impossible to restore with usingMac disk image not equipped with T2 chip? When I restored inSeptember 2018 and in March 2019, macOS had worked normally butwhen I restored in September 2019, only spinning globe had beendisplayed all the time and macOS utility by command + R couldn't launch.While the spinning globe is displayed on the screen, I could confirmthat there is response of HTTP/1.1 200 OK from http://osrecovery.apple.com/by conducting packet capture.I assume that there was specification change by the recent update.

Have it become impossible to restore firmware of T2 security chipinstalled Mac by using Apple Configurator2 ?We expected that there is latest firmware for T2 security chipinstalled iMac Pro and we tried to restore firmware by the specificprocedure with Apple Configurator 2.However, it abnormally ended with the following error."(AMRestoreErrorDomain Error 10 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg)[AMRestoreErrorDomain - 0xA (10)".This iMac Pro becomes blank screen even though power is on.When we asked Apple support about this condition, they answeredthey have no idea about the error" AMRestoreErrorDomain Error 10" and said that they will acceptrepair as hardware defect. We are wondering if we really need tosend it as repair or not.
