Ever since (I think it was) beta 2, MMS to any number not in iMessage doesn't work, and this includes beta 5 now too. If sending directly from the phone it attempts to send when you click send, but then reverts back to a draft message to edit and not send. If you send it from a Mac, it'll show up on the iPhone as a sent message with the picture, but the (non-iPhone) end user just sees the SMIL code instead. Everything works fine with anyone using iMessage though.
