I have seen that a similar question has been asked in 2017 but no there hasn't been a satisfactory answer. I am adding a bar button item with a custom view to the toolbar. How do I adjust the height of the item to the maximum supported size of the toolbar (taking portrait and landscape orientations on an iPhone into consideration)?
Assume I have a couple of buttons. Whenever the user touches (and holds) one of the buttons an associated scroll view is scrolling up, down, left or right. It stops scrolling when the user releases the button or the end of the content is reached. How can I make this scrolling smooth? Or better what is the best method? I came up with a couple… Show more
There is actually no documentation about the methods - presentationControllerDidAttemptToDismiss: - presentationControllerDidDismiss: - presentationControllerShouldDismiss: - presentationControllerWillDismiss: When implementing a custom UIPresentationController I assume that the derived class has to send these messages to the delegate at the… Show more
Why is popoverPresentationControllerShouldDismissPopover deprectated, respectively what is going to replace this functionality?
I would like to adapt between two different `UIPresentationController`, according to the current trait collection. For example, the two controllers could be `UIPopoverPresentationController` for any traits and a custom `UIPresentationController` for compact horizontal traits (e.g. iPhone). Unfortunately this doesn't seem possible in the latest… Show more
Hi, I have pretty complex project with multiple submodules, provided as development Cocoapods. When I change something in that related submodule, xCode correctly recompile changed code. However, when I run the code in simulator, the changes are not there. I have to do Product -> Clean to see the changes. When I switch to the "Legacy" build… Show more
Hi, I suppose that all bugs still exist in 11.1 or did you get a feedback from Apple that they have been solved? PS: I experience still the same issues as you have described with 11.0 (at least with that version I tested the new build system as I am too lazy to check all the time if some of the bugs disappeared whenever a new version…
I have not found any official documentation that Xcode's formatting is supporting Doxygen comments. In the past Xcode's formatting seems to have worked but with Xcode 11 comment formatting (highlighting) is broken at several places. Therefore, does Xcode support Doxygen comments?
Seems like < 50% of my code has syntax highlighting now. Anyone find a work around?
Since Xcode 11 commenting C++ code becomes a bit of a problem. Adding a comment into one line like /// This is a comment and hitting afterwards <return> adds automatically a line with the comment delimiters in the next line. How can I stop this behaviour? /// This is a comment /// (but I do not like to have a comment in this line)
