In the macOS X era the minor version was only changed once per year, with the release of a new (major?) version. Within a minor versions the API's remained stable and code did not have to be recompiled to take care of new libc++ etc. So we had 10.15.1 ... 10.15.6 where my libraries stayed compatible. Now we went from 11.0.1 to 11.1 (with incompatible libc++ forcing library recompilation) and the new beta is 11.2 and not 11.1.1. Will 11.2 also be again incompatible with 11.1? Fons
