After any change I make a message "The document could not be saved. The file has been changed by another application." appears - how can I stop this?

I started doing the Intro to App development curriculum and this comes up whenever I so much as type a letter. I tried restarting the application and the computer as well to no avail. Any ideas what could be causing this?
