Unknown error 53 for iphone6/plus would be only one reason, the home key doesn't match. There is no solutions so far, only send back to apple for replacement. Same as iCloud lock, the computer doesn't care if it is match or not, it has to be a program that tells it to do so, trying to find the program out and edit it may works, I am working on it too.
