Speech-to-text input

I'm building a Game Show style application for tvOS and would love if a player could speak a response to my app. I have a proof-of-concept app developed for AndroidTV that does this to great effect, but I'd love to abandon that mess of a platform and bring this experience to the new Apple TV.


An idea: Will a user be able to populate a UITextField using the Siri functionality of the new remote? The simulator doesn't seem to include Siri functionality so I can't test this currently.


Will update as I continue my own investigation.

[Yes +1] for Siri / Dictation functionility in future API release.

So how will the user enter any text required by apps? Are we still stuck with the old on-screen keyboard?
