I can no longer connect to private shares (username/password required) on my remote NAS drive through Finder. Public shares (Guest access) are still accessible, but not private. TimeMachine still works as well. Machines running Mojave or earlier can still access private shares on the NAS, but not machines running Catalina.
Suspicion is Apple has dropped support for SMB 1 and SMB 2 on Catalina, forcing remote NAS devices to use SMB 3 without any alternative.
Can this be confirmed????
