Just installed iOS public beta to a phone that had developer beta 2: Which version do I have now?

I'm asking this because it seems developer betas have priority over public ones: after installing 12.4 beta 4 the phone stayed on iOS 13. I'm having battery issues with the phone and thought that might be the cause, so please, if you know anything about this, reply.

Public beta is the same as dev beta 2. You will not have to wait for public beta releases to update, which usually come out a day or two after the dev betas.

You did not answer my question.

Once you've updated to a higher OS version, even if it's a beta, Apple doesn't make it easy to roll back. You could give this a try:

Otherwise, you'd probably just have to wait until the next beta update comes out.

Whats your build number now that you have installed the public version?

got to Settings > General > About , then click on the "Software Version" it will change from "13.0" to "13.0(version)"

in the beta 2 the version is 17A5508m

so when you click it'll say "13.0 (17A5508m)"
