Look, I get that this is a beta. I saw it in beta 1 and didn't report it, but it is now WORSE in beta 2. I'm hoping other people can test - is this just me? My Samsung EVO 840 is benchmarking at 24MB/s write and 19MB/s read. I mean, I totally expect with OS logging and whatnot that things would be slower, but... MAN. 😟

It took me five days to decrypt the drive, but once decrypted, the performance improved by ONE HUNDRED TIMES. Something is horribly wrong with Catalina’s accessing encrypted volumes... -Verxion
