Mac doesn‘t startup after install of beta2

I‘ve just installed beta2. Now my MacBook Pro 2018 doesn‘t startup anymore. Progress bar on black screen raises to the end, but becomes slower and slower till end, then MacBook boots again. Already several times. Restore (Option+Cmd+r) does nothing.

Beta1 did work, except permanent errors in preferences.

Seems beta2 doesn't like my docking station (CalDigit TS3 plus) anymore. At least it doesn't startup anymore, when it is connected. After detatching it, startup works again. I can also attach and use the docking station (and connected display Acer Predator X34) again once macOS is running.

Same problem for me, hangs on “Estimating Time Remaining”

Same here. Trying internet

recovery. have a time capsule if that fails

Mine doesn't complete the first step. After about 10 minutes the installation process stopped with the message "Could not create preboot volume for AFPS install." Sounds like waiting to install this one would be a good idea. 😁

I got the exact same error "Could not create preboot volume for AFPS install." 2018 MBP with Beta 1 currently installed. No issues on the iOS install.
